A Little Bit About Carman As you can see on the left Carman was born on January 19, 1956 in Trenton, New Jersey. He was born the youngest of three kids with a brother that is eight years older and a sister that is ten years older. He started singing when he was seventeen so that he could join a band and started out playing different bars. In 1976 he had gone to visit his sister who had been praying for him for quite some time. One night while he was there he saw Andrae Crouch in concert at a themepark that they had gone to. It was the first time he had heard the gospel set to music. The next morning he asked his sister about what he had heard the night before and he gave his heart to the Lord and has been singing for him ever since. Since then he has kept himself very busy. He has done 8 music videos (four of which went Gold and two of them going Platinum), a series of 13 videos entitled Time 2, written two books, and recorded 22 albums (five of which have gone gold.) Currently he is working on getting a Christian drama put on T.V. His show Video Gold can be seen on TBN on Friday nights at 9:30 pacific time, and Saturday nights at 7:00 pacific time.
